Commercial Driving License Course (Evening School)

We are excited to announce an in-person course in the capital area, designed for those seeking to obtain their commercial driving license. This evening course will run from January 14th to February 20th, with classes held Tuesday to Thursday, according to timetable below at the College in Kópavogur (Menntaskólinn in Kópavogur).

Course Overview:
Participants will receive comprehensive instruction on obtaining increased driving privileges, including licensing for buses, trucks, and taxis. To enroll, students must already hold a general driving license and meet the government's admission criteria.

Important Requirements: To be eligible for the necessary exams, participants must schedule an appointment at their nearest healthcare center to obtain a health certificate for a commercial driving license. Additionally, they need to apply for an updated driving license with the relevant categories at the nearest district commissioner’s office. We strongly recommend starting this process as soon as you decide to join the course.

When submitting your driving license application, please indicate that you are enrolled in the course at Ekill Driving School and that your instructor is Grétar Viðarsson.
